Visitation Outreach was Saturday, August 7th … Wanda Merz reported that everything went well with several people helping either with the visitation, by writing cards, or by helping with food. Crayons were delivered to the little ones, and notebooks and pencils were taken to fifth and sixth graders. An invitation to Sunday School was attached to each gift. Wanda considered the day a success and thanks all who helped.
Olan Mills Bio-Directory is in progress, and Ann Franz reported that most of the pictures are completed. Any additional picture days would require at least 20 families to schedule. Individuals still needing pictures taken ‘can’ be scheduled at area churches, as appointments are available. A lot of work still lies ahead on the directory, but it is steadily progressing.
Movie Night – watch for more information. The purpose of movie night is to reach out to our neighbors and have them join us for an activity.
Hogeye is Saturday October 23rd, All Day… The Men’s Breakfast crew will man the booth and sell burritos. The booths have already been reserved and paid for. Flyers for Candy Heaven and tickets for Judgement House will be passed out again this year.
Judgement House plans are steadily progressing. Volunteers are still needed, and calls are still being made, as time allows.

Thursday., September 2nd ::: Meeting with Room Directors Only ::: 7pm
Saturday, September 11th ::: Rehearsal for Drama Only ::: 1 to 5pm
Saturday, October 16th ::: FULL Cast Rehearsal (lines should be memorized) 1 to 5pm
Sunday, October 24th ::: FULL DRESS REHEARSAL (with costumes and makeup) 4 to 8pm (those needing costumes and makeup will need to be there at 3pm)
Judgement House Production / UNEXPECTED performances:::
Wednesday, October 27th through Saturday, October 30th, and
Wednesday, November 3rd through Saturday, November 6th.
Tours will be scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with Wednesdays reserved for area Youth Groups.
Reservations will begin October 1st.
Emails / postcard reminders will be sent out to drama participants for the first practice. All other participants will practice on the second and subsequent full cast rehearsals.
Outreach / Missions Committee meetings will be on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall beginning in September.
